New updated Schedule

Good morning racers!!!

Here it is the much anticipated, updated schedule for the 2020 racing season! Please notice ALL the changes!!!

● We noted on the schedule which races were canceled this year due to the pandemic

● We added the couple ppint races at the Orangeshow, first of which was July 25. Then the newly added,, our next race, will be August 29th under the lights again!

● The next races Venue, in September, has been changed from Tucson to Boulder! Same weekend, new place!!

● And the last race of the season in Tucson will now be a 2 day race with the banquet (just food, raffle, and good times)Saturday night. Then final points will be tallied and championship trophies will be given out on Sunday after the race!

Please take note of all charges! What this means is after all is said and done, we will have 12 point races in all, only one shy of the original schedule! Thank you to the board for getting the most out of one of the most unpredictable years we’ve ever seen as a nation!

Hope to see you ALL at Orangeshow August 29th!!!

2020 Gets rolling off with a good start

1/4 scale Grand National Boulder City RC Speedway 2020

2020 Qsac West Points Series started off with a great weekend off racing at Boulder City RC Speedway ( BCRCS) . Race #1 was held on Saturday Feb 8th and Race #2 Sunday Feb 9th . Randy Brown was dominant in Sportsman on both days taking the checkered for a back to back showing. In the Limited Sportsman Bill Spears had a good run on Sat for the win, however on Sunday Vince Baldachinno proved top dog coming in number 1 . Sprint Class had Josh Charrette throw his hat in for the first time , and boy was he on fire sealing the deal . On Sunday returning Sprint Champ Jeff Spruitenberg reminded everyone whose the boss taking the checkered. Super Truck Class had several drivers from Donkey Ballz Racing for the the hardware, DBR veteran Mike “Animal” F. secured the gold for his team on Saturday . Sunday saw all the DBR racers getting schooled by Randy Brown piloting a Thunder Bolt racing chassis for an easy win. Grand National had the most action with the best drivers out west battling for the checkered flag. Jim Turner was feeling the pressure from Alan Lay at his heels , Lay was having a great run , but unfortunately his crew dropped the ball and Lay ran out of fuel with 25 laps to go. Turner got the spot. Sunday was a different story with both 2c Concepts drivers showing the field what this new racing platform the Viper can pack. Chris Cramer for first and Mike Lubanovich in on second in the 2c Concepts Viper . Special thanks to Bob Lydecker and BCRCS for hosting this weeks racing. For finish results click here.
